2011 Summer Children's Day Camp Program Details

Rain or shine--the program will carry on!--some activities may be altered.
When??
-July 11- 15 -- Drama/Choral Camp at Kerry Vickar Centre in Melfort for K-Grade 12.
--9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

-July 19-Aug. 4 -- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
--9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
-Aug. 8-11 -- Mon. - Thurs. -- Everyday at Torch Trail--8:30 am - 5:30 pm (Combined camps with          Melfort and Nipawin).
-Aug. 15-18 -- Mon - Thurs. -- Everyday at Torch Trail--8:30 am - 5:30 pm (Combined camps with          Melfort and Nipawin).

**Children do not need to attend each day, you can decide which day(s) your child will attend.

Where??
-"Home Base" will be the Tisdale Elementary School. Parents can drop off and pick up children there.
--Tuesday we will be bussed to Stoney.
--Wednesdays we will run programs in Tisdale and will use a variety of facilities including:                BRAND NEW 28' PORTABLE CLIMBING WALL; TES gym, bowling alley, swimming pool,                churches, parks, mini-golf, business tours, etc.
--Thursday we will be bussed to Torch.

(Transportation by bus is provided free of charge courtesy of Northeast Financial Services.)

Who??
-Co-ed children K-Gr. 5 (As of June 30/11)
--Min. age=Completed Kindergarten.
--Max. age=Completed Grade 5.

Cost?? 
-EVERY CHILD registered in TES gets ONE FREE DAY AT CAMP THIS SUMMER.
--To be eligible for the free day, your child, as of June 30/11 MUST:
1. Have completed any year from K – Gr. 5.
2. Have been enrolled in TES during the ’10-'11 school year.
3. Attend TDCI day camps during the month of July only.

-$30.00 per day per child after their free day
-- if paying by cheque, please make cheque payable to Tisdale Day Camps Inc.
     -- one total receipt will be issued at the end of the summer for your child's complete summer                    registration fee.

How and when do I register ?
--You MUST pre-register and pay at least TWO days before. Payment must accompany registration          form in order for us to reserve your spot.
--Registration forms will be available after June 1st.

How many campers can attend each day??
-Program space is limited to 24 campers per day.

What does my child need to bring??
-bag lunch including drink and snack. Water will be available.
--Please note that afternoon snacks on each day will be provided and is included in fee.
-Tues. Tuck (choc. bars, pop); Wed.-donuts/icecream treats, etc. and Thurs we stop at                  Dairy Queen for ice-cream treats.
-Weather appropriate clothing including bug spray, light jacket, hat, swim suit and towel.
--On the Tisdale Days, campers MUST bring INDOOR, non-marking gym shoes as well as
outdoor shoes.
--On the Torch Days, campes MUST bring long pants and  if they have heeled shoes or boots for         riding. Some cowboy boots are available at camp.

How can I contact my child during the Day of Camp??
-In the case of an emergency and you must contact your child, there will be emergency numbers available for you to call.
